I have been searching and reading older posts today to get info on original color schemes. My 1928 Chevrolet Coach has wood spoked wheels. They are clear finish with black rims. A couple topics reference "natural finish" for sedans. Does that also hold for the coach? Would natural have been unfinished wood or some kind of clear finish?

Nothing is ever simple.

1928 was the first year the spokes were natural (unpainted).

If you did a search I'm sure you read the comments about the "black" rims.
