It looks nice but with the number of modifications from original I highly suspect an overly optomistic description.

It is kinda fun to pick apart some ones car just based on a few pictures. If you could get a visual of the car the results may be different, but it is fun to kibitz.

The car is a 1927 5-passenger coach and appears to be painted the correct St James Grey. The job number quoted is correct. Would be nice if we had a date from the head/block or the data plate on the end of the seat riser.

Some of the incorrect items you can see in the pictures are the 4-bladed fan, replaced spark plug wires which do not appear to be black, the modern coil obviously, horn wiring is incorrect and may indicate a replaced wiring harness, clamp added to the header pipe at the manifold, the carb is obviously an early 6-cylinder and not for a 4-cylinder, it does not appear that the vacuum tank is being used, vacuum lines have obviously been replaced, the stop/tail light does not sport the Chevrolet Bowtie, an extra hole has been placed in the dash to the left of the steering column, decal missing from the air filter and the oil filter.

And there are probably more incorrect items unseen in just a few photos.

I noticed in the pictures for this car that the vinal top was very smooth around the corners. I need to replace the wood header at the front of my 28, which will entale rolling back the roof material. Mine is not smooth at the corners. Does anyone know how to get the corners to look smooth?
