a while back, some sent me a part number for the front wheel bearings for my 28 coupe. now that i am ready to get one my filing system seems to have failed me. or maybe my age is showing. anyway i was going to order from local parts place and cant find them. any help would be appreciated.

Very simple. Clean up the bearing you are taking out, read the number from the bearing or take it with you to the parts house. They will be able to use that number for a cross reference to a manufacturer of bearings they carry.

I always thought these were the first bearings New Departure ever built, ND-01 and ND-02 or Bower B-01 and B-02 or the more modern 909001 and 909002. Anyway they are some of those rare 28 parts that you can usually find at your local auto parts store.
