Finally got around to lubeing the chassis on my 28 national AB and noticed that there is no lube provisions on the tie rod (connector rod) and the idler link. the lubricating chart in the repair manual calls for lubeing the tie rod joints with heavy oil and to lube the idler link with cup grease. what is the proper way to lube both items? I can not find any openings in eather item, do I just add oil as best I can on the tie rod, the ball sits such that oil can't easly applied, higher than the rod opening. The idler link which calls out for cup grease. the only way I can think of doing this is to disassemble and add grease and reassemble, but this seems like the long way around the problem. thoughts and or comments?
