Hi Derek
My Feb 1st 1924 Parts Lisst indicates the 1916-23 model 490's and Superior use a part #H32 Brake Drum which was a 10 inch drum. For the 1924 Superiors the drums were increased to 11 inch with part #341579. So down in SYDNEY the last of the Oshawa sourced 1923 Superiors chassis were 10 inchers drums while the 1924 Chassis sourced from Tarrytown switch to the 11 inch drums and at the same time switched from cable control to rods and levers brake controls.

Hi Ken
Thanks for the information that clears up a couple of gray areas for me.

The brake drums I have measured are 1 9/16" width overall. Maybe KenK or someone else may have catalogues which state a size.
