Saw a 28' truck front fender for sale in the generator and would buy it if it would fit (be the same as) my 27' fender. Does anyone know if they are the same???
Also, is there a way to remove the bowtie emblem from the front of my radiator shell w/o destroying it--so that I can clean up and paint behind it??

The fenders are the same.

To remove the emblem from the steel shell, and to prevent damage, requires you to take the radiator out of the shell and work from behind. Assuming it is still an original emblem, it is just pressed into the shell from the front. If it has been replaced it may be secured by a bolt.

Yes 1 Ton,
And if it's soldered to a flush head fastener, like the last two Asian Repros that I bought, It will just fall off if you wait awhile. Also if the background plate is original with the green patina still on don't clean it. Like original copper pennies it's worth more that way.

The emblem appears to be original--unfortunatly I already cleaned it. Is there a way to push it back out from the rear without damaging it??
