It doesn't appear that someone is going to answer your question, so tomorrow I will make some drawings of what is on my Superior K and give you some details. There is a small bracket that is secured by the manifold bolts and it would apppear that this is where the klaxon is mounted. When I purchased my car it had a later model horn mounted to the firewall. Regards, Peter Moody

Thanks to everyone. I've seen so many different horns and locations on these cars . I have a #8 & #14, both with manifold mounts. Now I know which one to use. :)

Just to extend the conversation a few years, my Superior F has a hole through the firewall with a 4 hole pattern. I guess you have to take the horn apart to install it. I don't have the horn but what model would this be ?? The tag on the horn in my 28 National says Klaxon 8 C and there is a 6 Hole pattern. It is mounted on a bracket inside the left frame rail and forward of the steering box. I bought it at a ( Gasp ! ) Model A swap meet years ago ?? Herb

Hi Herb, According to my Combined Parts List Four Ninety and Superior Models, dtd Feb 1st, 1924, page 82, under horn (Four-ninety and Superior)this would be the horn you are looking for. ![[Linked Image from home.comcast.net]](http://home.comcast.net/~chev33radio/SuperiorHorn.jpg) On the cover of the horn it will say REMY .
