Hi jwp, I do not advise driving the car in the current condition. The 2.5 rims are for 1927 and earlier. If you check closely you will find the clamp lugs(Jaxon)are barely touching the rim and at a poor angle to secure the wheel. In order to mount the 2.5 rim on your 28 disc wheels required the removle of the dimple on the rim or grinding a slot on the disc. Rims for a 1928 (3.0 inches across) are not that difficult to locate. For your safety----find some.
