Well I am about to go boldy into a new project. Carefully plopped in my garage is a 1926 Chev 4Dr Landau Sedan in decent unrestored shape. I left it outside for about two weeks to allow the encrusted pigeon poop time to wash off naturally.
What sources for parts? I'm thinking some parts
are the same from previous or later years and if so is there any available cross reference book on that? Are there service newsletter reprints?? I'm learning this is not quite like the overwhelming availablity of repro A or T parts...but what sources are out there??

I'd say right off the bat, visit The Filling Station and Gary Wallace .

They've both proved invaluable to me with my '24.

Perhaps I could also assist. I've got lots of excess parts and now I've lost my job so my wife says 'clean the garage out'... teddybearpa@sysmatrix.net

MickeyBoy-

All the above parts sources are good, also don't forget your Tech Advisor for '25, whose duties were recently expanded to include '26. "AntiqueMechanic" on this chat site. Besides a wealth of accurate information, he also sells many of the hardest-to-find parts. Find his name and contact points in the G&D, assuming you are a member of VCCA. If you are NOT yet a member, JOIN NOW. The membership will become one of your best assets in the restoration.

Although a lot of your parts will interchange, the most similar year being '25, a lot will NOT. Progress was rapid in that time period, and changes were frequent.

Stay patient and have fun, you will have a unique and wonderful old car when you are done!
