Hey,
Do any of the 4 banger experts know if the sockets in the tie rod ends of a '28 Chevy are the same as those used by Model A F&%ds? If they are not the same can they be used? I know that the balls can be used and the springs, end plugs are the same. The socket is the part next to the ball. The sure look similar and much different from those used in the sixes.

No, the socket for a Model A is smaller. 5/8 ths. or 1/2 inch.
