I am passing on this request I got from HMN for photo and story on those rare Chev Big 4's. I am hoping somebody will contact Richard Mann, Bob Sovis and Dennis Johnson and pass this message on to them also. Thanks, KenK

Hello!

My name is Mark, and I'm an associate editor with Hemmings in Vermont. I'm
writing a short piece on the 1919 Chevrolet FB series for our Special
Interest Autos magazine. I found your contact information listed with your
club in our Hemmings Collector Car Almanac. I wonder if you can help me
find a bit of information and a photo of an FB for my story, or perhaps you can
direct me to someone who can. I'd like to know what made the FB different
from its 490 bretheren, and how this model was significant in the early
days of the Chevrolet company. We also like to run images of the cars with our
stories, but unfortunately we don't have one of this car in our Hemmings
archives. Would you or anyone you know have a good photograph of an FB, in
any bodystyle? We can take either a paper photograph or a digital image,
200+dpi, downloadable from a website or attached to an email. Of course we
will print a photo credit.
Thank you so much for your time, consideration, and assistance with my
query!

Sincerely yours,
Mark

Hi Ken,

I have forwarded this to Bob Sovis as well as Jim Hickman. I don't have Johnson or Mann's email addresses.

Luckily I have some great high-res photos of Hickman's 1920. The photos I have of Sovis' are quite as good (I was using a more basic camera then).

I have forwarded it to Richard Mann. My FB is not good enough to send a photo yet. Maybe in a few months.

Hemmings already has a great pic of Hickmans FB. His car appears in the VCCA / Hemmings 2003 Calendar for the month of June. Y'all ought to get one of these calendars. They're GREAT!! ok ok
