Sure hope that i'm not a pest,asking all these questions! :p Call me confused ,stupid,ignorant or some thing.But my topic is , is the wiper blade control a so called vaccum motor or "regulator" that I find listed in several parts catalogs.I'm in dier need of the wiper vaccum motor,that I so call it? :confused: curse

Yes, the part that causes the wiper arm to go swish-swash is the vacuum wiper motor and on the twenty-eight Chevrolet the part that has a knob on the dash opposite the choke knob is the windshield regulator or control valve, it controls the vacuum that works the vacuum wiper motor, new Reproduced or rebuilt control valves are available for around $95 from a couple of vendors. If you find a stach of operating 28 Chevrolet vacuum wiper motors grab them!
