I would like to know If touring hinges from 1925-1928, were pressed steel in the U.S. and cast steel in Canada. Someone in the U.S. had asked me for hinges for his 25 touring. I had quite a few from various years of Chevs, I checked my Parts book and It shows them to be the cast steel ones I have. When I sent them to him, he said his were different and e-mailed pictures of them. After comparing them, they were pressed steel and not cast. Could they be Jobber hinges or were all the ones made in the U.S. pressed steel. Check your tourings and let me know

My 28 has pressed steel hindges and I think that the cast hindge is pre 25

In my " Parts List" Model Superior It shows a picture of the hinges on page 75. They are cast steel for sure. But this is from the Chevrolet Motor Company of Canada. Book. If anyone has the U.S. version could you let me know what they look like or e-mail me the page. Thanks.

Looking at my Superior "V" Parts Book, page 24, they appear to be the pressed steel type. Second Edition, April 1st, 1926.

Looking in my Canada (GM Products of Canada, Ltd) book, Page 20, Parts List Superior Models Series "K" June 1st, 1926 and the picture appears to me to be the same hinges??????????
