The hood for my car looks like only the outside was painted. Inside the only paint is where it came through the louvers. Should I leave it this way or paint it? <img border="0" alt="[twix]" title="" src="graemlins/twix.gif" /> Thanks again !!!

About the hood, Our 1919 490 was a one owner came from Washington state stored in1935 we restored it and it did have paint under the hood, I think parts like the hood, fenders and other parts were dipped. If you check the body you might find little dripps under the bottom edge as we found. the enamels of that time period were different than todays. I hope that this helps you in your restoration. :)
