You might get better results if you were to advertise for the parts that you need in the parts wanted section of this forum. There are a lot of Chevy dudes that check out the classified ads section of this forum that might not look here. Good luck! laugh

NJ,
Did you give up on me? I just sent you the pics of the wheels and tires, and of the carb. Hope you got them.

I checked on Coker tire's site for your tire size... they think your truck is supposed to have 21" wheels (440/450-21 tires). Are you sure you need 19" wheels? I'm looking for a set also for a '31.

N J, Is your a V Series or An AA Series

If it is a V series your tire size would be 30" x 5" and if it is an AA Series they would be 29" x 4.40". The Chevrolet 4cyl parts manual list disc wheels rear of the the V and AA 1/2 ton trucks rear 28" x 3.5"
A natural wood artillery wheel were available as an option. chevy

Wynne, yes those are the wood spoked artillery wheels. These were an optional wheel for the 27 models. chevy

Hi from Australia
Out here '27 and '28 trucks had 20 inch wheels, wooden spoke were standard fitment and we had an optional steel spoked wheel, available for front and back. There were NO disc wheels available for trucks.
Another point to note, is that you say it is a '27 model with a '28 carby. Maybe it is a 1928 LO series, (early '28) which is sort of like a 27 (no brakes on front)but has a 28 engine.
I can give you a few more details about the LO series if you wish.
