Isn't that something? If you hear about an up-coming tour you are interested in attending next year, send in a check and ask for directions! That will more than likely put you into the CLICK!

Rumor has it that the SStour will be in SE Kansas next year. If you contact Bill Bradford I am sure he will put you on the mailing list for info on the tour next year.

Just to report from the Ozarks: The SST VII is well underway. Several of your favorite chatter boxes are attending. Though it has rained everyday the timing could not have been much better. We have managed to make all tour destinations and for the most part without rain when we were out of the cars. The scenery has been spectacular, shows great, food to die for and then the highlight the tire kicking with other Chevy Nuts. Sorry Gene, your chat name was just too appropriate. Maybe next year some others can enjoy touring with a vintage Chevrolet. All we need is for a few others to step up and put a tour together. There are members chomping at the bit rairing to go.

Any of you "guys" ever toured with an ex-school bus? Well we have a spectacular '38 Chevy 'family' bus on the tour. And Ed, Janet and family drove it 450 miles from Iowa to attend. More later right Gene!

Well now its history.Arrived back home last night-Sunday-making the journey back from Branson in 12 hours-640 miles-in my 1950 -which is now up to 42,000 miles.Added almost 2000 miles this trip-all trouble free.

I am sure we all had a great time and no one had any problems. But it did rain -rain and rain.

Next long trip will be the 6 Cylinder Tour to Vermont in September yipp

Why is the SST listed under Regional Events. Isn't it open to anyone in VCCA which would make it a National event?

Its open to all VCCA members. There were members there from the Netherlands,Wisconsin (another foreign country),Minnesota,New Jersey and TEXAS.I guess it was a National Event (or International)

I guess that it was my doings as I posted the message under "Regional"----Should have been "National"

Actually, the way some people look at it a Regional Meet is a meet that is hosted by a region (or by a person within that regional location) and a National Meet is a meet that is hosted by the national VCCA, such as the Anniversary Meet. Both meets are open to all VCCA members no matter where they live. Simple huh? Now, watch someone make it more confusing and difficult! ha ha! laugh laugh laugh laugh

Let me make it more confusing. Are meets such as the Central Meet and the Middle West Meet Regional Meets or National Meets? Are the Junior, Senior, Preservation, and HPOCF National Awards or Regional Awards? The last Central meet was listed as the Central Division National Meet.
