Just a bit of info. I went to Hampton Coach and ordered my interior and left my seats behind to have them done properly. They are repairing the spring portions of the rear seat as they were in tough shape. Jim Rodman has the wood for the rear seats for the 2dr Coach and is shipping them out next week. Now I'm down to the woodgraining for the garnish mouldings. Have located the windshield garnish mouldings. Looks like I'm heading for home plate. wink :)

HI LEO. I HAD MY GARNISH MOULDING DONE BY GERRY LILLIAN IN KANSAS, ABOUT THREE YEARS AGE. GERRY SOLD HIS BUSINESS TO MIKE BENTON IN NEBRASKA. YOU MAY WANT TO CALL HIM AND TALK TO HIM ABOUT YOURS. MY GARNISH MOULDING WAS PHOTOPLATED IN WALNUT GRAIN. THE PEOPLE WHO UPHOLSTERED MY CAR, DAMAGED SOME OF THE MOULDING AND I HAD TO SEND IT TO MIKE TO BE REDONE. HE DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB AND IS A VERY HONEST PERSON TO DEAL WITH. I THINK THIS IS A GOOD PLACE FOR ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO HAVE THE MOULDING DONE LIKE THE ORIGINALS. IF INTERESTED CALL 402-339-8283 THANKS DON :) :) chevy chevy :) :)

Hey!! Stop sending people to Jim Rodman until he finishes my wood first! I ordered it 3 years and 3 months ago and I'm still waiting for the last few pieces.... sheesh....

His work is absolutely great, but I want to drive my car before they take my driver's license away from me due to old age! wink

The line forms here... newangel

newangel Bill, I know how you feel it took almost 4 months to get the pieces I ordered they did not have them in stock and had to wait while the make some more. :( the problem with being good at what you do is everyone wants some of your time, you usually run out of time before you run out of customers. Keep the faith and call often that is what I did. Got the wood pieces I think it was so I would quit bugging them. It worked for me laugh laugh chevy

This is another reason why I own more than one old Chevy... that way I have one to drive, and and one to work on...

Although, I frequently end up working on the one that I drive!! bigl

YEP MR MACK, I OWN ONLY ONE OLD CHEVY AND I DRIVE IT ALL THE TIME. IT ALWAYS RUNS GREAT,BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE PROBLEM, I ONLY DRIVE IT IN MY DREAMS?????????? WHEN RODMAN DONE MY WOOD KIT, I ORDERED IT A LITTLE AT A TIME AND JIM ALWAYS SHIPPED THE PIECES TO ME IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. I EVEN SHIPPED THE DOORS TO HIM TO REDUE THE WOOD AND GOT THEM BACK FAIRLY FAST. I THINK JIM IS A LOT BUSIER NOW THEN HE WAS ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO. I BET HE DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH HELP TO GET ALL THE ORDERS OUT AS QUICKLY AS HE SHOULD. :) :) chevy chevy :) :)

SORRY BILL, WHEN I TALKED TO RODMAN LAST WEEK , I MENTIONED YOUR DOORS TO HIM AND I TOLD HIM, NO HURRY BECAUSE YOUR GARAGE WONT BE BUILT FOR TWO MORE YEARS SO TAKE YOUR TIME ON THEM. ? HIS REPLY WAS THAT HE PLANNED TO TAKE A LONG LONG TIME ON THEM, IF HE COULD ONLY REMEMBER WHERE THEY ARE. OUCH???????????? bigl bigl     bigl bigl
