Looking to sell my 1951 Stylelline Special Spt coupe. She's been my 20 year project and it's time to find her a new good home.
The ca is 95% restored and a fun driver:
.
Not a show car. Body work and paint completed in 2016 and except for a few blems (one orange peel spot and some scratches) she looks great! Intense Blue Pearl Clearcoat (94 Dodge color).
--7K miles on a total rebuild of a 54 235 truck motor with .030 over bore new cam, valves, and ground crank, resurf flywheel.
, rebuilt 51 3 sp manual, new clutch/press plate/release bearing
--only modification is a 6v alternator. RI Wire Service wiring done 7 years ago with factory markings.

--Interior as bought with brown vinyl seats--door panel removed on driver side, so it could use a new interior as mentioned as 95% restored. NOS rubber floor map, driver and pass floor pans replaced and POR-15 coated

--21575 r15 Goodyear radials with Coker radial tube with little wear--car driven locally as a Sunday driver.

Work remaining to be done:

--replace rear axle bearings (noisy) I have new replacements waiting to be installed Car drives fine at non highway speeds. (Original torque tube rear with 4:11 gears, so it works hard at 55+)
--slight play in steering but she tracks straight and not an issue for driveability
--new door and trunk weatherstrip (removed prior to body work)
--have orig bumper jack and lug wrench and spare rim

--17K obo. Price reflects current condition. All in all a nice bone stock coupe fun driver for someone with the time and $ to finish the tlc items.
Available for showing in the San Diego area.

Thanks
