. I have one project too many! I purchased this around 30 years ago and have $1000 invested so that's my asking price. It drove into it's current location but would need to be trailered home. It is a 1938 Chevy 157" wheelbase TD chassis with a Crown bus body. The drive line is from a 1942. Engine is 235 truck engine with blown head gasket between #5 & #6. The Crown Carriage Company was in Los Angeles from 1904 - 1991. If you would like more details, ask. I can email more photos. I would like to find it a good home. Make offer. Lou . . . .

. Hi Tiny, I have $1000 into it so that's the asking price. I have 2 other 37 Chevy buses that I am much more interested in restoring so I am not doing anything with the Crown and probably never will. It's blocking the door to a garage that contains other more interesting 37 Chevys so that's why I emphasize, "MAKE OFFER". . Sorry I didn't make it clearer. The engine casting number is #839751 which is a 1942 - 46 235 engine. It has a threaded dip stick hole. The drive line appears from 1942 - 46 era as it is Hotchkiss not torque tube. . Lou . .
Asking for offers is fine. The forum rules state all items for sale must be priced. If $1000 is your asking price I'll edit your listing to say that. Be aware that big changes are afoot and all ads will need to be redone in a few days anyway.
