My question is how rare are the 1st series 1955 3600 chevy trucks?

Dont know how to answer this but they are less common then the second series trucks .

I have read that the 3100 series finished production around the end of March 1955.

The ID tag in door jam, if still present, tells what number your truck was less 1000, They started at 1000. You will know that they made that many at least.
