In 1949 there were 2 heaters for the trucks. I can find plenty of pictures and information about the Harrison Deluxe Heater. This is the heater that connected to the air inlet on the right cowl and had the Rancor temperature control valve
Can anyone post or link to pictures of the standard Harrison recirculating heater? This one mounts to the firewall and simply pulls air from inside the cab and pushes it over the heater core. There is a manually controlled deflector to divert the air to the windshield defrosters.
