Hi:
My '31 special sedan shows a trim number 2 and a paint number of 1030. Does anyone know what the original colors were?
Serial number is 564841, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
Thanks,

Tony English

That is a tough question, I don't know if anyone has any information for cars built in Canada. Canadian cars used different numbers and casting numbers then US cars. You might send and e-mail to dlongmuir@bmts.com he is from Canada and might be able to help.

I think there a membership list that shows where members live. If there is, maybe you could find one of the members in Canada that could help.

Also there is a big junkyard in Canada that is in the G&D that might help.

Color combination 1030 is as follows:

Upper panel, black
Lower panel, Orlando Blue
Roof panel and rear quarters, Black
Moulding, Black
Window reveals, side, Orlando Blue
Window reveal, rear, Black
Stripe, Gold
Wheels, Black
Fenders, Black

The junkyard in Canada wouldn't have a clue about color combinations, since they are not even aware about the different cars that they have.

Good luck with your project! laugh laugh laugh laugh

Are the paint codes the same for the US and Canada?
