I think I have found out why many "restored" cars still have the original seals on the vent windows. Today I began the process of replacing the vent window rubber seals. All the pieces were stripped apart including the air deflectors and the chrome redone. I think the engineer that designed the window was perhaps a puzzle designer previously. Getting all the parts assembled in the correct order was a challenge as well as riveting the air deflectors back on.
