Finally found a reason for the bad parts that I have kept. Had a carb with a crack in the bowl and it had most of the internals salvaged for other thing. Needed a desk lamp. Carb is the right age for our 41 Chevy and the plates are the right age for our 87 Monte Carlo.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.

Excellent job, what a clever way to use old parts.
