I received the with the many parts that came with my 1941 Chevy Master Deluxe. We had thought we had the jack for the car. After looking at is it is nothing like the type I see in the pictures for other 41 Chevys. It works like a screw and not a pump. Also it cannot be used on the rear bumper since it would interfere with the cover between the bumper and the car. What is it from?

Also we have a long folding crank. We had suspected it may be for starting the car by hand but the end is either rusted away or not correct for the engine. Is this even for a car?

Thirdly there is a metal rod. I suspect this is just a metal bar that was in there but if there is a purpose let me know.

With this car there were allot of extra parts and parts to other cars so we are still learning what somethings go to.

The only pieces that look like they go together are the base and the screw type bumper jack. Your folding handle is for a jack but seemingly, not your jack. The iron bar could be a jack handle for a ratchet type bumper jack or just an iron bar as you suspect.
I have been trying to sort out what are the correct tools for my 1935 Standard Coupe and my 1936 1-1/2 ton truck. IT AINT EASY.

The jack is a universal adftermarket jaxk. The correct 1941 jack was a ratching type bumper jact with a base something like tthe base or your jack.

Let me check, I might have a jack that is correct for your 1.5 ton truck. Understanding correct tools for a 1935 passenger car is easy. I will send you a PM.
