. I do not find #38374 in the list of casting numbers. #3837004 appears to be the casting number I see between the ignition distributor and breather in the video. It is listed as 55 -57 235 or 261. I got this number from someone else's list on which I have found many errors. <http://home.znet.com/c1937/Cast.htm>. Example is #3629703 they listed as 1950 - 52 235. Since the motor mounts changed in 1952, it could not share a block with 1950 & 51. .
. The 3836848 head is supposed to have higher compression. .

Interesting. If the valve hadnt stuck there were several other things that were getting ready to be a major problem.

I am still wondering what they did about the front main bearings having 0.010" difference.
