Hope all are good. I currently have a 3656872 Axle on the rodded 31 Coupe. Research tells me it's a 41-55 1/2 ton truck axle. The axle has always seemed too wide for the car, and the disc brake conversion kit added to that problem. I am wondering if there is a narrower GM axle that would be a fairly simple swap? Any info greatly appreciated.

I have a NOS front axle that is correct for your car. It is about 50-1/4 inches center to center (top) at the king pin bores.
