I have tried to attach a photo to a posting but get a message saying the file is too large. How do I correct this so I can post?
Thanks for your help.
Jeff

Two options. One, set your camera to take lower resolution images. Two, use available software to resize your pictures. I use Irfanview, it's freeware and pretty functional. Windows has a built-in program called Paint that I've heard has the ability to resize. I've not used Paint so I can't give specific instructions. In Iview open your image then click on Image. From the drop down menu click on Resize/Resample then select the size you want.

If you are using Windows it includes a program called 'Snipping Tool'. This allows you to take a screen shot of part of your screen and save it as a small .png file. I just open the picture I am going to use and take a screen shot of it and save that to post. Also allows me to cut out the parts of the picture I may not want shown. It also has the ability to draw on the picture if you need to highlight something. It is real easy to use.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.

Thanks for the responses. I am using a Mac computer and iPhone to take the pictures. I can re-size the files on the computer and am trying to learn how to save the resized file. Not quite there yet.

On my Windows laptop I save the resized photo by doing a "right click, Save As". I simply add an "R" suffix to the file name.
