If it fits the opening and twists into place, it will work. The correct caps appear regularly on eBay. With a little patience you can get one for a reasonable price. I suppose that depends on what you consider to be a reasonable price.
I got my '33 coupe 60 years ago and it came with an aftermarket stainless steel cap, that still looks like new today. I use it when I don't want to leave the eagle cap on when I'm away from the car for the chance of losing it. I recently purchased one of these new reproduction original style caps from the Filling Station, which is so beautiful, that I would hate to lose it too. Guess I will still be using the old stainless cap for the same reason. Roger
I have a radiator cap for 1933 to 1936 Chevrolet trucks, send me the measurements for the opening and I make sure that it fits. Original and the chrome is ok. If it works for you $30, shipping included.
