I read this morning that the Theodore Roosevelt presidential library is slated to open in Medora ND on July 4th 2024. This is the location of the south of the two ranches that TR owned. As that is a five or so hour drive east of the Rapid City meet, anyone old enough to have an interest in the youngest President on Mt Rushmore, this could be an opportunity for a side trip either going or coming. It was reported that the library will contain a collection of papers and artifacts never before assembled in one place.
