Hi, I'm a new member.

I'm currently rebuilding the engine for my 1935 Standard Sedan and I'm looking for some information on the gauges used to set up the rod dippers and oil lines in the pan. I'd like to make a set as I've been unsuccessful at finding any. Does anyone happen to know the dimensions for them or have a set that could be measured?

Thanks in advance

I remember years ago that either The Filling Station or Chevs of the 40s had a rental program. I don't know if they still do but it's worth a call to see. At the time one would put down a large deposit (to ensure they were sent back) then return them within a given time to get the deposit back minus the rental fee. You can occasionally find a set for sale but not often. If you do find a set for sale be prepared to pay up. I paid several hundred for mine several years ago.

Chevs of the 40s still rents the ones for the 216 and later engines, but unfortunately not for the 207s. I'll have to check out the filling station.

Hi JHoffman35

The tool set you are looking for is a Kent Moore J-793.
You will probably have a very hard time finding one.
So, as you asked, maybe someone could take some tracings, measurements and pictures if they have one?

Good luck in your search.
