Can someone please provide me with the dimensions of the 490 starting crank so that I can identify one or maybe create a copy? Thanks

There are many different part numbers over the years but the cranks are basically the same. Start with 3/4" stock about 2' long. Drill a 5/16" hole centered 5/16" from the end. This will leave you .160" from the tip to the edge of the drilled hole. Insert and center a 5/16" X 1.5" pin. I've attached 3 photos so you can see where to make your bends. I hope this helps.

Actually they are different. Its easy to make one, but if you want the original, this is what it looks like.
