Gee.... that almost looks home made. Did you make it? What is the diameter of the rod. I think I can attempt to make something like that before I spend $150, Thanks, Mike

Let's get a new thread going when the topic shifts. I don't think we are dealing with front suspension anymore.

I would offer the guy on Ebay $50 for his and see what happens.

The ones on ebay look like stamped steel rather than rod. Mine measures just under 3/8.

Thanks Dave. I'll see what I can do. One more on topic question. My front suspension project for this car right now is just about complete. My question is regarding front end alignment. My last set of tires wore badly on the front and pretty good on the back. I figure I had too much toe in on the front and that scrubbed off the tread. I'd like to get the alignment checked and set on the car before I drive any distance. Do you think a Dealer would do it, or maybe a local garage? Will the modern equipment mount on the front wheels and give a good reading? I have the manual that tells how to adjust and how much, Mike.

I think I would ask some local old car guys who they recommend for alignment. I use a trammel rod and set my own toe in but with all the work you are doing it would be good to find a professional to set everything up.

It would be fun to see their faces at the Chevy Dealership when you pull into the service department.
