VCCA Home Forums TECHNICAL - 1945 AND EARLIER 1929-1932 1929-31 clutch pressure plate application

Hi All
Trying figure out what the difference is between the early 1929 clutch pressure plate 835947 that fits the 835635 flywheel and the later 29-31 clutch pressure plate 836461 that fits the 836230 flywheel and the 836363 flywheel as listed in the 1929-32 parts catalog.

I found the casting number 835947 on the inside of the clutch pressure plate between the 2 stands or bosses that the clutch lever retainer plate bolts to so I know that I have the early 29 one. I know that the clutch cover I have is cast 835821 which is correct for 1929-31. This clutch pressure plate and cover assembly came out of a flywheel cast 835767 with a date code of D 16 9.

Will this early 29 pressure plate work correctly in the later flywheels 836230 and 836363 using a new reproduction riveted clutch disc for 1929-31 even though the parts catalog show that they are different?? Any help would be appreciated.
