This is an excellent Upper Radiator Tank. It is very solid with virtually no dings at all. It is from an original 1948 Chevrolet with a date code of 48 K.
The original Harrison part number for this radiator is 3121096. $15 + Shipping. It is my understanding that it fits all 1942 - 1948 Chevrolet passenger cars.

YES THAT is 1948 passenger car top tank. That can be put on a 1942-1947 radiator and then a pressure cap can be used.
A radiator shop can easily do the job very easily.
