When I store my 1950 for the winter, I have to raise the vehicle off the ground due to bias belted tires. If I leave the car on the ground the tires will get flat spots. So, is it better to have the jack stands under the frame (leaving the suspension to hang down) OR better to support the suspension with the jack stands ???

If I was going to store a car off the ground I would put the stands under the suspension.

I agree with dens41. Letting the suspension hang at its travel limits does not seem ideal.
