Now that the cold weather is upon us I am curious about have effective the heater is in my 1948 Fleetmaster Woodie. There are 2 switches near the left of the steering column, “heat” and “def”. Those are the only controls that I located.

That is all that controls the heater fan and the defroster fan. There is no fresh air coming in or air blowing out of the defroster when swith in not depressed.

The “heat” switch is a 3 position switch and mine only operates on the the first position from off. Should it operate 3 different fan speeds for the heater?

Is there a fix for this or do I need to attempt to locate a new switch?
