Greetings. New member here in Indy. I am the proud new owner of a 1938 Buisness Coupe. I am looking forward to learning and receiving advice on the workings of the car.
In addition to the ‘38 coupe I also have a 1957 Chevy Bel Air hardtop and a 1954 Chevy 3100 truck.

Welcome Craig. Does your 38 coupe have a metal spare tire cover on it? I am looking for one for my 38 Cabriolet. Or maybe do you know anyone who might have one

Sadly that's not uncommon anymore. At car shows my 38 is pretty rare since it's still stock.

He does not have a rumble seat coupe. The only models hat had an exposed spare tire on the rear were all low production models such as the trunkless 2 and 4 doors and the MASTER DELUXE rumble seat coupe. The same cover was use in 1937 and 1939......trunk less 1039 sedan models only and onlt a few of those were made.
