I found out this morning that the truck I was buying was a SCAM and I lost $26000 . I am not sure I will ever recover from this financial lose

I am so sorry to hear this. Situations like this hurt all of us in the classic car hobby. Unfortunately the internet has provided a very strong foundation for scammers.

My observation is that if the seller will not allow someone like an appraiser or fellow VCCA member to see the vehicle then it is a scam.
