I don't think the one on the left has the translucent green "cat's eye". I think the "cat's eye" disappeared in 1947 or 1948. Someone please correct this if I'm wrong. Ole S Olson

I went down a rabbit hole looking for something that was not an "upgrade option" for the AD truck. I have a working lighted 6V CASCO OEM truck cigar lighter in my '48 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. I suppose the "cat's eye" lighter available at the accessory counter could have been installed in a truck, but not likely. LUKE
