On my 32 coupe I have the under dash wiring completed and am routing toward the front of the car. I currently have the harness laying on the driver side engine pan and have connected to the generator cutoff. Need to connect horns and headlights etc. The wires are not marked so I am kind of lost. Need to get to the passenger side. Should this be routed underneath the radiator?

I don't know how this translates to a 32 but my 38, the wiring goes through the firewall and down the driver's side of the engine side firewall to the frame. The front wiring runs on top of the frame to the front crossmember. The passenger side wires then cross to the passenger side on the crossmember lip. The wires running to the rear run along the body, held in place with body metal hold downs (could be called clips).

The wiring runs from the dash instruments back to the inside of the firewall, arcs around turning vertical and through the bulge in the plate that goes around the steering column. It splits there with three wires going to the back along the frame. The two connectors for the dimmer switch are near the split. The horn and light wires run along the frame rail to the radiator. The horn and left headlight wires up the radiator shell to the holes in the shell. The remaining headlight
wires are held by three clips just behind the radiator on the frame cross member toward the radiator shell and up to the hole in the shell and on to the headlight.

Thanks Tiny and Chipper. I have them routed and am at the horns and headlights. A couple more questions:
1. Is conduit (similar to headlight) used for the horn wires?
2. I have three wires going to each headlight but only two wires at the light. Car has cowl lights. Is the third wire for parking (cowl) lamps?

While I dont know the actual set up I think the 3rd wire maybe an earth/ground, the others being high and low beam. Another possibility is that the 3rd wire could be for park/marker light as well as the cowl lights.

Yes conduit for the horn wire and the third wire is for park/cowl lamp . Did you get a new harness?

I ended up with a harness for a 33. They must have had parking lights incorporated into the headlights?

I don't believe cowl lights were available on the 33 Master/Eagle or Standard so the park lamps would have been in the headlamps is my guess. Possibly there are other differences that someone with more experience than me could advise.

33 Masters did not have Cowl Lights. Parking lights were in the Headlights.

In 31 you could get cowl lights for parking lamps or the headlights had a parking lamp built into the head lamp lens. Did that carry on for 32?

Yes is the short answer. It varied I believe by model .

Thought I was done behind dash but...got a short somewhere and not sure about electrolock.
I don't think the electrolock is original. It has three connections at ignition switch (non pop-out). One is for battery and the other two for coil. Does it matter which is pos or neg?

On the wiring diagram I have for the 32 it shows the + side on the coil connected to the same terminal on the switch as the gas gauge .The other to the negative .
