I believe someone is making the bed sides already. When I restored a 34 I saw complete bed kits available but the bed I was working with was in fine condition.

As far as I know, no one is reproducing a bed with the detail of an original '34/'36 pickup bed. There is an area above the axle where the bedside goes inboard to make room for shock linkage.
Roger Sorensen restored both '35 and '36 Chevy pickups. He bought new bedsides and had the indented parts, of his old beds, cut out and welded into the new sides to keep his restorations authentic.
