As I go through my ‘51 I am finding some “old car” issues. I have found all the grease fittings after cleaning up the suspension but I cannot get grease into all the fittings. I have removed the grease zerks and cleaned them out but I’m afraid the control arm bushings and tie rod ends, etc. are filled with decades-old hard grease. I just have a hand-pumped grease gun to work with. Any tips other than redoing the whole front suspension?
Thanks again for any help.

invest in a side lever type gease gun.
Use a thinner gease mixed with gear oil\ or fill grease gun with gear oil.
Use warm grease.
Take weight of of the wheels off floor so suspension hangs free
Warm frozen fittings with a torch...a little
remove the left front wheel an see what directio the upper control arm top rear fittig is pointed.A fitting often missed om 1949-1952 models
check lubricant level of the steering gear
Remove push in plug in housing o top of steering column (uder hood) two levers stick out of on standad transmission cars and fill with grease.....

Another idea came back to me. It was Called a Ram-O-zerrk. A little cylinder you filled with oil, placed on the Zerk, and stuck wiith a hammer. Tis foced the oil into the fitting.
