I painted the chassis with a semi-gloss chassis black paint. Should I use the same paint for the spring steel bars that the bumper mounts to. Or, should I use the gloss black paint that I plan on using on the fenders?
Also, are there any thoughts on using a rubberized undercoating on the inside of the fenders, or should I just paint them the same as the rest of the fender? The finish is not going to be as good as the top of the fender anyway.

Thanks much,
Ralph

The show surfaces use high gloss paints. Originally many of those paint surfaces have been buffed to improve the gloss. Most other parts use lower gloss utility quality paint.
