I have a '38 chevy sedan. Just wanted to say hello. I have been mostly a Corvette and Chevy C10 guy. So I am new to the older chevys.

That looks like at least 3" chop, maybe even 4". How is the head clearance to the roof liner?

Head clearence is fine.I am 6'2" tall with stock bench seat. Now view out the windshield is a different story
