My 1948 Fleetmaster Woodie got caught in the rain and has a leak at the top of the metal strip that runs up the middle of the windshield.

Any ideas on a fix?

The 1946 and 1947 Fisher Body Manual shows where sealant is used in several places during assembly, including above the center division bar. As Russ recommended , you might be able to get some sealant in that area from the outside depending how pliable the rubber is. You’ll need to need to remove the outer vertical chrome strip. Since you have a station wagon and most of the manual won’t apply, PM me your email address and I’ll send you pictures of the appropriate couple pages. I have a 48 wagon. Mike
