Any ideas for what this fits? Short, single cut key.

Did the coil move to block in 35?

YES,,,,,,,,,but I could be wrong because I do not see any threads on the casting for the nut that holds it to the dash,

Wes,
The coil cap on a '34 does not twist on. It has legs that push into grooves on the coil. Also '34 has a double cut key.
I'll look for the number in my AEA catalogs.

From my book it looks like it is for a 1934 Plymuth. There were probably over a 50 different eletrolocks made for various cara. A GM eletrolock did not come with a lock cylinder and key, the old one was transfred.

Wes and Gene,
I have similar one that is 20-3/4 inches long. It has the number 111627 75. It also has no threads for securing it to the instrument panel. I had not noticed this feature before. (keen eye, Gene) I have several AEA (Automotive Electrical Association) catalogs but only the 1938 in easy reach. Neither number appears there and no exact match is illustrated.
I'll look in some other catalogs when I can.
