Hi all, owned many old trucks, cars and motorcycles. This 1930 Chevy Roadster is my first old Chevy. The car is a solid 8 out of 10 IMHO. I had a 28 Model A while back, but this car looks to be a lot more "user friendly". Any advice on the pros and cons of this car is much appreciated. Look forward to picking the brains on this site. I've had great success with other similar car sites in my 71 years.

That IS a gem!

I envy you, I've always wanted a '30 roadster like yours.
I've always thought touring the Rockies with the top down would be a dream.

Welcome!

Welcome! You'll enjoy your '30 Roadster...there are lots of us here who own and enjoy similar cars. There is a ton of information here on VCCA chat...just learn how to use the "Search" function and go out and explore. If you haven't already done so, I recommend that you consider buying three publications about your car, all available in reprint: The owner's manual, the repair manual, and the Master Parts Price List. All three are invaluable for understanding your new old car. All three are available from our primary supplier of parts for these cars "The Filling Station" www.fillingstation.com, and from other suppliers.

All the Best,

Chip
