The original VIN plate is missing on my 1941 Master Deluxe. There was a floor repair welded into that location by the prior owner. I would like to order a new plate with the number that the car is registered with and install it in this location. I have seen a few different ones available. Any one have a photo of what the correct one to use is? What type of rivets where used to attach these? I do not have a show car, just a fun car but thought installing it with the kids would be a nice touch.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.

There is someone who advertises in the services section of the G&D who can help you. Check it out.

Best,
