I’m new to VCAA. I just bought this 1948 Woodie and I need to remove the clock to send it out for repair. Any tips on removing the clock so I don’t screw it up.
Hard part, getting under the dash. Easy part, remove the light by pulling out the bulb holder. Then remove the four nuts and pull out the clock. Be sure to note any spacers that might be there.
Easiest way to get under the dash, is to remeove the front seat. Of course depending on how old you are. I removed the front and rear seat when I rewired my 48 coupe in 2012. Threw some old blankets on the floor for cushioning. Made it fairly easy.
